Life sciences presentation design
that gets great science funded.

For life sciences and biotech CEOs who need investors and pharma partners to understand the science, and back it.

For CEOs with a raise in the diary,
we’ll get you investor ready.

You know your science better than anyone, and that’s often the problem. When you’ve lived inside the data for years, it’s hard to see what an investor needs to hear first, so the deck grows and the message gets lost.

You want to position your business as serious, credible, and with a brand identity that matches your ambition. That’s hard to get right.

We turn strong science into presentations investors notice, understand and want to back.

A scientist reviews your story
before we design it.

David Kirk

Most agencies start with design. Our life sciences presentation design starts with who edits your story. Before a single slide is designed, your content is reviewed by David Kirk, PhD, our scientist-turned-storyteller. David trained in molecular microbiology and has a background in therapeutics R&D, so he reads your data the way your toughest investor will.

A fellow scientist can cut what your audience doesn’t need without losing what makes the science matter. Nothing diluted, nothing oversimplified, and every claim still holds up when someone checks it line by line.

Why great science gets a
“not right now”.

Most life sciences decks we see have the same three problems. None of them is the science.

  • Too close to the science. When you know the research inside out, every result feels essential. Nothing gets cut, and the finding that should open the pitch ends up on slide 23.

  • Written for a journal, read by an investor. The data is right, but the slides are built for a scientific meeting. Anyone outside your field loses the thread by the third chart.

  • One deck for every room. A specialist fund wants the depth. A generalist investor wants the technology and the people. One version can’t do both. It’s rarely the science. It’s the translation.

Life sciences presentation design starts with who’s in the room.

Every investor reads your deck looking for the answer to one question. It’s rarely the same question twice.

Specialist investors

“Does the science hold up?”

Show them the mechanism, the validation data and the milestone their money gets you to.

Generalist investors

“Can this scale?”

Show them the platform, the market and the people, in words they can repeat to their partners.

Pharma partners

“Does this fit our pipeline?”

One deck can’t answer all three, so we build one story at two depths: the headline and the detail. Ready for a partnering meeting at BIO International Convention or seven minutes on a conference stage.

How we work:
three phases, four weeks.

Unlike your clinical programme, ours has three phases and finishes in a month. You commit to one phase at a time, so you never pay for slides you don’t need.

Phase 1:

Story

Discovery and storytelling workshops with David shape one story for each audience. You also get a first look at the deck’s look and feel.

Phase 2:

Design and build

A fixed price, scoped once Phase 1 tells us how many decks and slides you need. We design, animate and refine with your team, including mechanism of action diagrams, pipeline charts and data slides an investor reads in seconds.

Phase 3:

Delivery and pitch readiness

Fully editable, on-brand files, plus pitch coaching so you walk into the room confident. Coaching is currently included for investor projects, with limited sessions each month.

Our guarantee. If you don’t feel we’ve added real value after your first storytelling workshop, we’ll stop and refund Phase 1 in full.

To date, every life sciences CEO who has started Phase 1 with us has gone on to complete their presentation.

One science story,
told at every depth.

Scripta Therapeutics, an Oxford drug discovery company, needed one presentation that worked two ways: a seven-minute, high-level story for a conference stage, and the full scientific detail for longer conversations.

David ran two storytelling workshops with the Scripta team. We then built the presentation as a template the whole team presents from, on top of their existing brand. On 13 October 2026, the high-level version went on the main stage at TechBio UK.

  • 2 levels of detail, from one story
  • 2 storytelling workshops with our PhD scientist
  • 7 minutes on the TechBio UK main stage

Designed for the company you’re building.

Nothing comes off the shelf. If you have a brand, we build on it. If you’re still early, as plenty of 10-to-50-person life sciences companies are, we’ll make your presentation look like the company you’re becoming.

Every deck is built to work in two places: in the room, and in the AI tools investors now use to read and screen presentations. We’re human-first: David and our designers make every call on your story and design, and AI is one of the tools they use, never the one in charge.

What we help
life sciences CEOs achieve.

  • Raise your Series A or B with a version for each type of investor.
  • Win a pharma partner with a partnering deck that stands up to scientific due diligence.
  • Explain your breakthrough to a generalist investor or your own board, without dumbing it down.
  • Keep investors confident between rounds with updates that show progress against the milestones you promised.

The Hype Team has helped me a great deal in turning a self-made and tech/data-heavy slide deck into a compelling, well structured and easy-to-understand pitch deck for initial introduction of the company and enhancing our investor outreach. The re-design of the slides, including visual appearance has taken us to a next level regarding a professional presentation and appealing visual impression.

Life sciences presentation design FAQs.

Can you design our life sciences investor deck?

Yes, it’s most of what we do for life sciences companies. Our life sciences presentation design covers seed, Series A and Series B investor decks and pharma partnering decks, often with one version for specialist investors and one for generalists.

How long does a life sciences pitch deck take?

Most investor presentations are pitch-ready in four weeks: roughly a week each for story, design and build, plus time for your feedback. Smaller projects can be quicker.

How much does life sciences presentation design cost?

It depends on how many versions you need and how much of the science has to be redrawn. Phase 1 is quoted before you start. Phase 2 is a fixed price, set once Phase 1 has shown us what you need, so the number doesn’t move halfway through. What moves it:

 – Versions: one deck, or separate decks for specialists, generalists and pharma partners.

 – Slide count: a 15-slide investor deck, or one with a scientific appendix.

 – Science visuals: how many mechanism, pipeline and data slides need building from scratch.

 – Brand: building on yours, or creating a look for an early-stage company.

If Phase 1 doesn’t add real value, it’s refunded in full. Our standard packages are on the pricing page.

Do you understand the science?

Yes. David Kirk, PhD, reviews every life sciences story before it’s designed, so you won’t need to explain your data twice, and we’ll know which result an investor should see first.

Is our deck kept confidential?

Always. Decks are sensitive during a raise, so we’re happy to sign your NDA before you share anything. If you don’t have one, we’ll send ours.

What if our next data isn’t in yet?

Don’t wait for it. We’ll build the deck so new results drop in as they arrive, and you can start pitching now.

What’s the difference between an investor deck and a partnering deck?

An investor deck sells the company: the science, the team and the milestone the money gets you to. A partnering deck sells the asset to a pharma business development team, so it goes deeper on the data and the fit with their pipeline. Most life sciences CEOs need both within a year, and we build them from the same story.

Raising in the
next six months?

Send us your current deck. David and our managing director will give you a 30-minute review: what an investor will see, what to cut and what’s missing. It’s the quickest way to see what life sciences presentation design built around your raise looks like, in confidence and under NDA if you’d like.
